Cosmetics will go beyond Green …

SpecialChem - May 1, 2009

The SpecialChem's team is just back from in-cosmetics, held in Munich (Germany) from April 21st to 23rd. Always a very good opportunity to refresh its mind with what's new in the Cosmetics world. If I should summarize this show into 1 word, I would say : "GREEN".

Excellent Findings ! - May 06, 2009

The team of SpecialChem has done excellent job on preparing this report. Its a eye opener. As a Green Raw material supplier from India, I was of the opinion that formulators use them for efficient products and Marketing claims only.

But now I understand what it means to so many round the world besides the above 2 reasons !

Hard to believe Green is finally Mainstream - May 13, 2009

My experience being Certified Organic -- a bit like books that everyone raves about but no one reads. Same for Organic - so much in the news, but the average consumer is ignorant. Looks like we're on the crest of a change. Natural is moving from Niche to Mainstream!

And the community saying that they use Green ingredients for ethical reasons (instead of just marketing message efficiency) is encouraging, because that's what Green is about - authenticity, transparency, amongst other things. Not just jumping on the bandwagon.
Pseudo Green? - May 26, 2009

I wonder for how many companies 'Green' means a synthetic formulation with a few token essential oils tossed in, or synthetic components "derived from plant oils" etc.
